Ozark Beer Company's newest expansion was an upgrade to our canning line. Previously, we filled every can by hand at a rate of about five per minute, seven on a good day.
Thanks to major advancements in cans and canning technology, craft beer has two new allies in the art of canning: SkaFab and Wild Goose.
Ska Fab of Durango is a fabrication wing of world famous, Ska Brewing. Their D-Pal, or depalltizer is fast becoming the craft industry standard for feeding a high tech canning line such as The Wild Goose WGC-100.
Wild Goose Canning of Boulder, CO engineers and fabricates The Wild Goose WGC-100 and 250. A pneumatically driven piece of art, this machine fills cans at a rate of nearly 30 a minute. It's patented in-line seamer seams the can lid to the body at lightning fast rates.
Here, Jose from Wild Goose, Ryan from Ska Fab, and the Ozark team install Craft Beer's hottest new machines in one of the South's fastest growing breweries.
