The Naked Ape is a 1973 American comedy film written and directed by Donald Driver, and starring Johnny Crawford, Victoria Principal, Dennis Olivieri, Diana Darrin, Norman Grabowski and John Hillerman. The film was released on August 1, 1973, by Universal Pictures.[1][2][3]

Plot

An insecure teenager persuades his buddies to go on a road trip through the Southwest for the summer and doesn't tell them he's not planning to return. The trio meet two girls who join them along the way.
