This article should probably be merged with Birefringence or Crystal optics. Melchoir (talk) 06:31, 10 September 2009 (UTC)

I agree with Melchoir. A uniaxial crystal is a subset of birefringent crystals, and the content on this page is not of the same quality as is the content on Birefringence.129.92.250.42 (talk) 14:36, 4 February 2013 (UTC)
