Join us for the 2019 Pinellas Mental Health and Substance Abuse Action Forum. We will bring together leaders from across our community to discuss the barriers present and uncover opportunities to help with co-occurring mental illness (MI) and substance use (SU).
Breakout sessions will be designed to both educate and engage participants to foster competence in critical issues. Collaboration in visualizing ideas for change and improving the application of prevention and recovery interventions to strengthen our community will also be a key focus.
Target attendees to include leaders from: faith community, clinicians, behavioral health, education, government, law enforcement, veterans, and the foster care system. Our goal: An audience positioned to take action with the new or renewed knowledge, tools, and resources from this forum.
Coffee and bagels will be provided, along with lunch items.
