PART 3: SIGNING NATURALLY CURRICULUM UNITS 1-6: 4 Fridays, September 13 and 20, 2019 and October 18 and 25, 2019, 9:30am-4:30pm (Videoconference)
This is a 24-hour course that is third in a series of 5 courses offered by CHS to train Culturally Deaf individuals who are fluent in ASL to become an ASL Instructor. This 5-part program prepares participants to teach ASL from the Signing Naturally Teacher's Curriculum Guide. This course is taught in ASL by Anselmo, DeSousa, a master ASL Instructor.
In this course, participants will become familiar with Units 1-6 of the Signing Naturally Teacher’s Curriculum Guide. Participants will be introduced to curriculum design, the lessons in Units 1-6, teaching strategies and evaluation.
ENTRY QUALIFICATION: participants must be Culturally Deaf and fluent in ASL. If you are not sure that this describes you, please contact email@example.com to arrange a Skype meeting before you register.
PRE-REQUISITE: Deaf Culture and Linguistics of ASL. Exceptions on a case by case basis. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss.

A withdrawal request made on or before August 30, 2019 will be refunded $300
A withdrawal request made during the period of August 31, 2019 – September 5, 2019 is subject to a $25 service charge. The refund will be $275.
A withdrawal request made on or after September 6, 2019 may be refunded for textbook only, subject to a $25 service charge. A Text book that has not been picked up or mailed, will be refunded $125. If the text book has already been picked up or mailed, then the refund is $0.
