Amy Joy is your speaker and adds her own personal story to help connect what human trafficking looks like here in the United States. She is ready to educate your team on how to identify and respond to human trafficking. She routinely educates professional groups; school employees, therapists, medical professionals, and many others. Our educational presentations are 3 hours. Each attendee receives a Certificate of Completion, signed by the Director of Restoration Place, as required by the State of Michigan to renew professional licenses. All social work professionals will receive 3 Continuing Education hours. All other medical, mental health, and education professionals can take their certificate and presentation notes to submit to their governing licensing board for CE appropriate to your profession. Training sessions can be held at your place of business or at designated facilities throughout the year. You will come away with a greater understanding of what defines human trafficking, the many forms it takes, and what to do when spotted. Resource materials will be handed out during the presentation. Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early for registration, payment, and refreshments.
HTES (Human Trafficking Education Seminars) makes no guarantee that any particular licensing board will approve CE credits, other than social work. Please check with your licensing board for training approval.
