Join us in celebrating the Saddleback College Class of 2019!
If you are receiving a degree, a certification, or transferring, we want you to participate in the ceremony! This year's ceremony will take place in the Saddleback College Gymnasium.
Seating and Tickets
Graduates will meet in a separate staging area and will sit with the people they line up with (no assigned seating.).
No tickets are necessary for entrance. Seating is on a first come first serve basis for family and friends in the bleachers. Please arrive early to ensure you will have seats.
If the bleachers are full, we will have limited overflow seating outside of the venue.
If you did not submit a degree petition, you can still participate and have your name called during the ceremony.
This RSVP is not needed to attend, but allows us to know how many individuals to expect at the ceremony.
Cap, Gown, Tassel, and Diplomas
Graduates will wear cardinal-colored caps and gowns. Caps and gowns are available for purchase at the Saddleback College bookstore. Purchase early to ensure your size is in stock. If you are not able to purchase a cap and gown due to financial constraints, please contact email@example.com and we will work to assist you.
During the commencement ceremony, you will be handed the cover for your diploma/certificate. Diplomas and certificates will be mailed at a later date to all candidates who have completed their requirements. If you move, please update your address online through MySite to ensure that you receive your diploma.
Admissions & Records will distribute honors tassels at check-in to all eligible candidates who have petitioned to graduate on time.
No parking passes are required. Parking is free on campus during the Commencement Ceremony.
Guest drop off will be available in Lot 4C.
Disable Parking will available in Lot 4.
Closest parking to the venue for guests are Lots 4A, 5, 5A, and 7.
7:30am - Graduate Check-in across from the gymnasium at the baseball field
Graduates will check in at the Admissions and Records table. You will receive your name card. If needed, please write your name phonetically on the card for the reader to announce.
Please legibly write your mailing address on the reverse side of your name card. The photographer will be using this information to send you proofs of your photos.
Light breakfast will be served
8:50am - Processional begins
The processional will be led by the faculty followed by the students and platform party. There will be marshals to assist with the student processional and lead graduates to their seats.
Stay standing until asked to be seated.
To arrange for special accomodations, please contact the DSPS Office at 949-582-4915 at least a week prior to the ceremony as we need time to coordinate.
Photo opportunites for students, guests, and participants will be available after the ceremony.
